What is the purpose of the Demonstrative Need Scholarship Fund?
The Demonstrative Need Scholarship Fund is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization, the purpose of which is to help needy Christian students enrolled at independent, fundamental Christian educational institutions—in particular, Bob Jones University.
What can I give to DNSF?
You may give cash or any type of property to the DNSF, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and collectibles. You may also wish to include the DNSF in your estate plan. How can I give to the DNSF?
The greatest current need is outright gifts of cash or other property. However, the DNSF is an excellent partner for a Charitable Remainder Trust, a Charitable Lead Trust, or for naming as a beneficiary under a Last Will & Testament, Living Trust, life insurance policy, or retirement plan, such as an IRA, 401(k), or 403(b). The DNSF Board Liaison may be able to recommend an estate planning attorney in your area who can help you execute these or other documents. How much of my donation will go toward student scholarships?
Other than printing, mailing, and other marketing costs that are incurred for the purpose of letting others know about DNSF, all donations are used to help financially needy students. Board members do not receive compensation for their work.
